Ouch, dude, that sounds pretty horrific. :( Must be really scary to make that decision to throw yourself off the bike??

I tend to give motorcyclists space, and pull over as much as I can safely do so, so that they can pass.

Ha, I wish more people actually cared. Just try to keep a good cushion of space near motorcyclists. Obviously there are some retards who like showing off and being reckless, but most appreciate having some space. If they tailgate you, slow down and make them pass you.

I always get nervous when motorcycle people ride up behind me, or around me. I’m always terrified I’ll lose sight of them and hit them or something.
Do you has tips of how to be proactive? Like the nice trucker who moved forward so you didn’t get stuck under him, I wouldn’t have thought of that.
